The purpose of this presentation is to explain some thing about the process of building a PC.

Building a computer
Before building your computer it is recommended to clean up your work place, doing so can help you focus on what you are doing and small parts like screws are harder to lose. You should make sure that you have all the necessary tools, like fitting screwdrivers.
The first thing you should do is to place the motherboard on top of box it came with, then install the CPU into the socket, squeeze a small amount of thermal paste on top of the CPU, install the cooler and place the ram into the DDR slot. It is recommended to do these steps outside of the case because you have more access to the motherboard than you would have with it screwed into the case and parts are easier to install that way, especially the CPU cooler.
Then after you’ve done that you should install the PSU inside the case. Next step would be to install the motherboard but before you should make sure you have standoffs already installed into the case, this is very important because if you screw the motherboard straight into the case you may permanently damage it.
After doing that you should be almost done, all it is left to do is to install the GPU into the PCIE slot on the motherboard, screw in the hard drive into the case, do the cable work and then install the operating system of your choice.
Cost
The cost of the computer depends on what you are going to use it for and your budget. For browsing internet you could build one for about £300. For games, if you are on a budget you would spend about £500. For something high end you would need to spend about £1000+.
How difficult is it
The process of building a computer is not difficult, even if you have never built a computer before, all you would need really, is to do some research on the internet and watch some youtube tutorials.
